Monthly Meetings

The Captiva Community Panel usually meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 9:00 a.m. All Panel meetings are open to the public, and we strongly urge all Captivans to attend and participate.

Minutes are taken of every meeting, and we post those minutes here so that islanders who cannot attend can know what’s being discussed and how various issues are being addressed. The minutes are not verbatim transcripts of the meetings; rather, they are a summary of the discussions and proceedings. A more complete record of most meetings is available from the digital recordings made at most panel meetings; due to file size, they are not available online but are available on request and for a reproduction fee (if necessary).
